The Air Jordan 3 Black Cement Countdown Pack is a retro of an original colorway of the Air Jordan 3.
It came bundled with a pair of Air Jordan XX in a pack – I’m guessing most sneakerheads got the pack for the 3s and most of the 20s are still collecting dust and sitting on eBay. While people are always glad to get another pair of BC3s and there was a lot of hype for this release, ultimately the shoe was met with criticism when it finally dropped thanks to the shape of the shoe, among other things. I personally needed a pair of these in the collection and was able to grab a pair of these for a decent price.
These are surprisingly easy to rock. This has contributed to the longevity of the colorway. I think dark outfits work the best, such as army/olive, black or dark denim with a grey or black top.
How Are The Materials?
The leather and nubuck/suede on these is really good, especially when put up against Jordan releases from a couple of years ago. It’s one of those cases where when they dropped, the materials were not that great compared to previous retros, but compared to current kicks, these are golden! I do agree the shape looks a little off on the CDP and more recent retros of AJ3s as compared to earlier releases, but things change! This shoe is still of good quality.
How Do They Fit?
The Air Jordan 3 Black Cement Countdown Pack fits true to size. The shoe is comfortable as most 3s tend to be even though it is not as light as a modern tech shoe. Not to mention these look good with just about anything you’re wearing!
